The only way to close this payment is to change the payment method on the order from Credit Card back to Check, and then try releasing it again. In that case, it should process successfully.

The reason you’re seeing this issue is that the order was originally imported from WooCommerce using the Check payment method. After the order was created, the payment method was changed to Credit Card. Unfortunately, once an order has been created with the Check payment method, it cannot simply be changed to Credit Card and released, which is why this issue occurs.

If you’re still unable to void the payment, please try the following:

1. Change the WooCommerce payment method on the order from Credit Card back to Check.
2. Release the three pending transactions.
3. Once they have been successfully released, change the payment method back to Credit Card if needed.

This should allow you to complete the process successfully.
